The Scott Whiting Family Reunion was this past week & we thought it might be fun to show some pictures of some of the activities!
We hiked up to Cascade Springs and Tyler carried Manessa most of the way there and back. Ammon was a real trooper, he hiked the entire thing by himself.
Here's Tyler, Mike, & Devin near the waterfall, it was really cold water.
Ammon and Manessa love to play in the water every chance they get (see flood post).
Manessa was just tuckered out with all the fun activities.
Tyler then took us a ways down A.F. Canyon where we did some rock climbing. Here's Angela just starting up the face of a cliff.

Ammon had to get in on the action too!

While we were camping, Manessa tripped & fell right in the bed of hot coals we'd just been doing dutch oven on. Luckily daddy was standing right beside her and was able to quickly pull her out. She still got some pretty bad burns though.

Ouch, that burn looks like it was probably followed by a loud long scream. Hope Manessa is ok now. I bet your mom knew exactly what to do!
What a fun trip!!! Poor Manessa. I hope she is doing better!!! We need to play soon!!!

I'm so excited that you have a blog (I found it off of Natalia's) It looks like you had a fun family reunion, aside from the burns (ouch!) I think we need to have a Whiting family reunion with all of the aunts, uncles and cousins!
Manessa's burn is much better now. All of the dead skin has flaked off and it looks like the scarring should be minimal. So we are happy about that.
I have this bad habit of not leaving comments when I read people's blogs. I'm turning a new leaf. It looks like you all had such a great time. We really missed not being there with "ya'll" Good to see Ammon climbing! love,
